Canadian Sheep Breeders' Association

The Canadian Sheep Breeders' Association is an organization of over 1,

000 breeders of purebred sheep across Canada, representing over 40 breeds of sheep. We are a democratic organization, operated by officers and directors elected by the membership in each province. We are dedicated to working for the interests of sheep breeders across the country, whatever breed they may happen to represent. We hold our Annual General Meeting in a different province each year in March, and sponsor the All Canada Classic, our national show and sale, in June or July, also in a different province each year. Although the Canadian Sheep Breeders' Association is responsible for the rules concerning registration of purebred sheep and their enforcement, the actual work of registration, record keeping, and processing memberships is contracted out to Canadian Livestock Records Corporation.
