Northwood Academy combines the challenging,

individualized Montessori system with fun and creative activities to provide a balanced program. Along with the Montessori curriculum we include language, math, story writing, French, computers, social studies, science, creative arts, music and gym. Enrichment activities of theme studies, cooking, drama, trips and special visitors, and optional after school programs such as instrumental music, dance, E.S.L. and karate may be offered to round out the program. We plan learning experiences that promote integrated learning and that allow children to handle, explore and experiment with materials that are both familiar and challenging.
